How to Score the New Lilly Pulitzer + Starbucks Swell Water Bottles

Hey loves! After recently posting on Instagram when I found the coveted Lilly Pulitzer + Starbucks Swell water bottles I received loads of questions about how I scored one, where I found them and more. Since I had a hard time finding the bottles myself I figured a blog post was necessary to help all of you find them! Enjoy!

First off you have to be willing to put in some work to find one, because they are only in select stores. I called about twenty different Starbucks in my city and what I found was the Starbucks that are getting the bottles are the Starbucks locations in malls. I am not for sure that this is true for all cities, but it was true for me because no other stores besides the mall stores said that they were going to be getting them in stock anytime soon.

After about ten phone calls I finally lucked out with a mall location where a barista told me they had them and would hold them for me until I could get there. I ran out the door as quick as I could and when I arrived to pick up the bottle the barista informed me that they are not officially on sale until Wednesday. They were willing to sell them to me early though because I inquired about it directly.  I have heard from a few other friends that at different locations they had to beg the baristas to sell them early, but hey do what you gotta do!

I have also heard that the bottles will officially be on Starbuck’s website for sale sometime Wednesday, February 15 or later this week. If you are hoping to score online I would recommend getting on the site before and keeping a credit card handy, because there are limited quantities and they will go fast.

If all of the locations near you and online are sold out there is one final option, but it will cost you a lot more. Lots of people have been buying the bottles and then reselling them for over 50% the original price on websites like Ebay and Poshmark. In store the bottles are $39.99 but online they can be seen for all the way up to $120. If you remember the release of Lilly for Target this is a similar situation. Although this option is the most expensive if you are desperate to get one and have no other options it can still get you the coveted bottle.

XOXO,
