Hey guys! These past two weeks all I have done is watch fashion week online, look at all the posts about it and try to follow it as close as I could. Since I could not actually go to NYC for the shows I had to settle for the next best thing- watching it on my computer. There was so many looks that I feel in love with so I had to share them. Number one has to be Rebecca Minkoff’s show because of the gorgeous bags and chic clothes. Something Rebecca started this year is the #SEEBUYWEAR. This means that whatever you see on the runway you can immediately go onto the website and buy it. I love this because it allows people who aren’t celebrities to get runway pieces. I love the simplistic look with chic details of this collection. My favorite dress has to be the white one to the left. I love the classic shape of this dress but with the details going down the side. Anyone that knows me knows I can’t resist a Rebecca Minkoff bag…so obviously watching this show made me fall in love with a few bags. Down below is just one of the many that caught my attention. If you have a chance to watch the show I would definitely watch it because it is so inspiring.
Next has to be Diane Von Furstenberg. The amount of press, pictures, and videos I saw from this show has to be bigger than all others. First off every model you have ever heard off was there, including Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner and so many others pictured above. I absolutely loved the colors DVF used because it really made the collection scream spring. My favorite look was Karlie’s because of the gorgeous gold and the texture was incredible. This is another show I definitely recommend watching fro some amazing inspiration.
Last but not least has to be Alice & Olivia by Stacey Benet. I have loved Alice and Olivia for a few years now because they aren’t afraid to experiment with bold pieces and it always gives me inspiration to try out new things in my looks. I also love how Stacey Benet always incorporates herself into the line with the classic big black glasses and cherry red lips(see bag to left). I love how this collection takes typical items of clothing but then incorporates a bold pattern or embellishment.
Thanks for reading!
